Welcome! Chaching Software Sdn Bhd ("ChaChing") is committed to ensuring the privacy of all users'("Users") information. In this privacy policy we want to explain to you what we do with the personal data that Cha Ching Software Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and all its affiliates (hereafter referred to as ChaChing, or we or us or our) receives or collects.

TO WHOM DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLY

means any person who visits ChaChing.my, as well as any other websites that ChaChing uses and where a link to this policy is included (the Websites); and

Subscribers
means any person who is subscribed to the software services that we offer (the Services), either through a paid subscription or a trial.

By accessing the Website and/or using the Services, all Users consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage and processing of their information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time, with or without notice, hence ChaChing encourages Users to review the Privacy Policy frequently to stay informed about information practices and the choices available to Users. All Users agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time they access the Website and/or use the Services.

Personal Information

In order to use the Services, all Users will need to submit certain personal information to ChaChing such as email address, name, address, telephone number, gender and date of birth. Users may be asked to submit further information from time to time.

Use of information and data

The personal information that Users provide will only be used in connection with the Services offered by ChaChing, to communicate with Users in relation to the Services or to co-operate with any government, industry or regulatory authorities. ChaChing reserves the right to use data (on an anonymous & non-personally identifiable basis) in relation to Users’ use of the Services for marketing & retargeting purposes.

Disclosure of information & data

Unless expressly authorised to do so by the relevant User, ChaChing will not disclose any User’s personal information or transactional data to any third party except where the disclosure relates to the purposes for which the information was collected (as stated above).

Access to and updates of information

Data Security

We maintain your personal data in a secure cloud-based server environment. Chaching has implemented certain appropriate security measures to help protect Users personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. All Chaching services are protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure transmission of transaction data.

Also, we store the information about you in a data center with restricted access, and we use a variety of technical security measures to secure your data. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will always be unable to defeat our security measures.

Also, please note that we may store and process your personal information in systems located outside of your home country. However, regardless of where storage and processing may occur, we take appropriate steps to ensure that your information is protected, consistent with the principles set forth under this Policy.

Data Retention

ChaChing may hold Users’ personal information both before and after the cancellation of each User’s account, for as long as ChaChing is lawfully entitled to do so.

Transactional data will be stored for a period of up to Six (6) months after the cancellation of services by the User. Six (6) months after the cancellation of ChaChing services, the transactional data will be archived as historical data.
